My son, dil and the four grandkids left for camping this morning. They will be back Sunday evening. This is going to be the first time I've been alone in years. I am walking better now after that flare and fall in May so I don't expect to have any problems with that. But I am still being extremely careful when I walk, especially outside. I will have to go out once a day to check on the turkeys. My 14 y/o granddaughter made feeders and waterers for the turkeys so I shouldn't have to give them water or food at all while they are gone. I will go out every morning to feed and water the chickens and ducks. My granddaughters close the chickens/ducks up in their house every night but I will have to leave them unlocked. I won't go out there that

late, in the dark. There have a large fenced in poultry yard so they should be fine. I will also have to go out twice a day to throw food to the barn kitties for the 14 y/o granddaughter. Those kitties are her special babies and she gave me specific "instructions" on how to care for them. lol The dogs don't have to be walked or anything because we have a large fenced yard. My 15 y/o grandson left me with his loaded shotgun. We have been having coyotes right up close every night so if they come after the turkeys or chickens/ducks... well I'll scare them off with some shot if I have to, I guess. Usually all we have to do is yell at the coyotes and they run. The only thing that concerns me is the heat. I hope a storm rolls in this afternoon to cool things off. Since we are off-grid we can't run the cooler unless we have the generator on. I have a difficult time starting the

generator and I would prefer not to mess with it. It has hit 90 the past few days but the weather report says it will cool off on Saturday. Wish me a storm and some cooling rain!hugs to each of you SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
