Guest guest
I like when we all use the term NADA. It makes me feel like we all had the same terrible mother. Yes, the stories are different, but they all feel exactly the same. For some reason, even when I'm talking about my own nada, I picture a woman in a silk leopard housecoat, a silk hair turban, wearing kitten heals, gaudy jewelry, wielding a bottle of pills, makeup smudged to high hell, slurring her speech, and crying her eyes out. The caricature makes it a little more bearable.
Guest guest
Love your vision of " nada. " Very much like Joan Crawford I think. My nada was a snooty female - the high heels, severe black suits with white blouse underneath and held her head high, nose in the air. Or she was the sex kitten with mini skirt (at my wedding) or black velvet dress with a slit up her thigh, leaning against men, patting their arms and flirting. She just did that yesterday at the grocery store to a stranger, poor guy trying to get away with his cane. > > I like when we all use the term NADA.
