I'm sorry to worry folks here but I am fine and dandy.As you know I was here on my own and everything went perfect. Except that we have had three daysof rain and no sun which equals no solar power to charge our battery bank. Normally if that happens we run the generator but I can't start the darned thing! So I was in the dark and couldn't run the internet. I had to use the kerosene lamps at night (it was just like Alaska:). I did a lot of reading done though! I finished a spy novel and read a Tony Hillerman book. Everything went very well and I am very, very rested. Well, right now they are little but I hear they can be a little rough when they are full grown. He would jump my 5 year old granddaughter and scare the bejeezus out of her. Finally one day he jumped on 's back and she started screaming. 's mommy ran out and threw a plastic pipe at the rooster, breaking his neck. She didn't intend to break his neck but none of us were horribly sad over it. lolThe new rooster is very nice, protective of his hens and the chicks but very nice to the humans.
