Hello,

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on natural, but effective acne treatments for my 18 y.o. son with PDD. All the OTC products' ingredients look AWFULLY TOXIC!

Thank you,

My 18 yr old son's acne has been SIGNIFICANTLY reduced when his OLE dose was increased a few months ago to contain his PANDAS symptoms. He takes 750mg of Swanson's Superior Herb line of OLE. Here's the kicker. I see an increase in his acne if he drops down to 3 caps per day but if he takes the 4 he's supposed to take (spread out thru the day) his acne is way under control. A friend of mine gave it to his 18 yr old daughter who is completely healthy save for bad acne. At first she responded to just 2 caps per day and over the months he's had to titrate her to 4 per day. Like my son, when she takes the he claims the difference is amazing (and they've tried about everything for that kid's skin). In our world, the OLE is a silver bullet for OCD/anxiety/panic...clearer skin is just a happy secondary

benefit.Best wishes. To: "mb12valtrex " <mb12valtrex > Sent: Saturday, April 14, 2012 3:30 PM Subject: Re: Acne

Olive Leaf Extract....we use it to manage the worst symptoms PANDAS...ocd/anxiety/panic. Not all OLE is the same...the Swanson's product I mentioned has the highest percentage of oleuropein in it that I've found so far. The higher the percentage the better it works in this house. I thought it was so interesting to see the same skin clearing result in a like-aged child without PANDAS. Kinda sold me on the fact that it wasn't just a fluke in my son.
