Guest guest
Hi everyone,......an update about my sons dog Nugget. The gal called tonight and gave him back. The sad part is we think he is sick, and he is so thin, you can see his backbone and ribs. The food sent with him was hardly used, and its apparent Nugget was neglected and abused. He'll be seeing a vet tomorrow, please keep him in your prayers that there isn't anything seriously wrong with him that can't be fixed. Last I called said he was on the couch with him on his back with his feet up and paws down, and his head in my sons lap. He didn't eat much, but drank 2 full bowls of water, and some beer. lol... He didn't recognize at first and cowered, but when he called his name he perked up a little. I'll post pictures as soon as he looks healthy. Right now its just too sad. But at least he's in a good home, and the girls don't know he's back yet so it will be a wonderful surprise for them! Hugs, Jackie

Guest guest
have the vet file a animal abuse complaint - he will know how to do it given the amount of money y'all have shelled out - it wasn't the ex call to do anything God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there. Guest guest
Hi,...he seems to be coming along. This morning he ate and pooped, but still piddled in the house. But he's still learning as he's only an 8 mo. old puppy. If anyone can nurse him back to health it will be . He grew up with many many pets over the years, plus he's a med aide so he knows about medical things. I told him he should go back to school and get a Veternarian degree because he's a magnet to animals, they all love him, and he's got such a gentle touch. Maybe he will, it would be a perfect career change for him. :-D Hugs, Jackie Subject: Re: Nugget is home :-)To: MSersLife Date: Saturday, January 29, 2011, 10:05 AM What a turnaround on the part of the woman who had Nugget! Guest guest
the first night we had my weimaraner he pooped on the basement floor - I alwaus left the basement door open - easier to pitch the laundry down and the lock was a bear to open - I was cleaning it up and I felt a cold nose against my cheek - Jaeger was saying he was sorry - I told him it was okay - I wasn't mad - I said if you have to go out just tell me - famous last words about 2 or 3 am the thundering horde came tromping up the bedroom stairs - I was dead out - I got a cold nose on my cheek and I lifted off the bed about a foot - on my way down I got my eyes open enough to see Jaeger = the two spaniels and the fox terrier along the side of the bed all I could say was let me get my glasses and I will let you out - so back down the stairs we went downstairs so I could let them all out for a cold winter group potty I didn't know until later that he has originally been trained by a woman - after 2 years of running on a farm - well if we hadn;t taken him he would have been dead in three days it irritated the boys and my ex that when they played fetch he looked around for me for permission to fetch - if he didn't see me he would play God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there.
