Guest guest
Friday night is usually very much a stay-at-home, eat something good but easy to make (tacos, usually) and go to bed early night of the week around here.... But we made an exception last night because our godson had a gig at a club. He plays drums, and recently started playing for a "real" band (meaning, it's not him and his mates from school, although he did know the guitarist from before, as did we actually). It's a jazz band (kind of), and perhaps not quite his style (his own band, the one with his friends from school, is a heavy metal band...), but for someone wanting to be a musician the engagement with that band gives him lots of valuable experience. And he was quite proud to be chosen at only 15 years old, and as one of many wanting to play drums for that band (and the others being adults, like the rest of the band). And we were VERY proud to be his godparents last night. He was doing good. And he was glad to see us there: When we arrived the place was kind of packed, and we said to each other that we should try and find a place to stand, with a resonable view and where it was ok to stand for a while (like where you could lean against something). But when he saw us he waved to us and pointed to the front seats – he had reserved them for us, it turned out. We felt incredibly honored!A very nice, but late, night out. We're exhausted today, though...love/Reb
Guest guest
a very special and considerate young man - you are justifiably proud God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there. Excellent! SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
