Guest guest
Well, just when we THOUGHT we'd beaten the plumbing into submission - yesterday the water heater went ca-blooee. Just because it's been in the house since sometime before 1991, when we moved in here... :-P On the GOOD side, I got a blue ribbon at the county fair for my embroidery piece, and my " evil twin sister " and I are ooching closer to the Etsy store for our patterns.. On the not-so-good side, I seem to be having what I think is a mini-flare - started with being unable to lift my right arm from the shoulder, went into spasm in my legs that feel like I'm walking on tiptoe all the time (throws me forward) and nasty fatigue. Hope it will all get better when the weather cools off a bit. Anyway, prayers for everybody who needs them! Guest guest
Are you left or right handed? I hope your problems go away quickly, . Congrats on the blue ribbon!! Wow!! I was thinking about you last week and all your needlework. I was trying to mend a pair of pants for my 7 y/o granddaughter and I realized my sewing skills have gone in the crapper. MS has really done a number on my hand dexterity. I guess I need goats to milk again. My hands were fine when I was milking:) SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
I just had a duhhh moment - the itchies are a pain = I use benydryl to attempt detente - when it starts it stays for a while and the good part is my nose doesn't drip with allergies To: MSersLife Sent: Tue, August 10, 2010 12:43:03 PMSubject: Re: Mini-update Are you left or right handed? Guest guest
Thanks, nne! Right now I think the water heater is more aggravating than the flare... :-P Can't soak my sore bits in hot water if there ain't any hot water! But I reckon 30 years or so is a pretty danged long life for a water heater, huh? in WY Practical Blackwork Designs " You get a wonderful view from the point of no return... Guest guest
Right-handed, of course... :-) Weird thing is my hands work fine (or at least as good as usual) it's the shoulder that doesn't work... I have trouble with regular sewing too! If it's not something I can count threads on, etc, my hands get too shaky... You know, I was trying to talk Himself into goats as we made the rounds of the critters at the fair on Saturday! (I'd like a nice little Jersey cow even better...) Think of that lovely unpasteurized un homogenized milk, and real butter, and maybe even cheese... add in some chickens for eggs, plant a garden, and we're good to go... :-D in WY Practical Blackwork Designs " You get a wonderful view from the point of no return... Guest guest
Thanks! :-) AS for the fizzling, I have that all-over-fizzling feeling all the time - on the rare occasions when it STOPS, I get a panic attack that OMG I've Lost All Sensation EEEEEEK!!!! ;-) in WY Practical Blackwork Designs " You get a wonderful view from the point of no return...
