Have you ever read J.A. Jance? If you like Grafton you would probably like Jance, too. Like you, I also read Drew (and the Hardy Boys) when I was quite young. I have tried to get my granddaughters interested in reading Drew, to no avail. By the time I was 12 I was reading Agatha Christie and loved, loved her books! It is so important for children to be read to regularly, even if they can read for themselves. I read to my grandkids every day. We have been reading various books about The Littles. Right now we are reading a book about a boy named Ben on the Oregon Trail. The grandkids think I am just reading for them but I enjoy the books just as much. :) SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. I think I have read all of Tony Hillerman, Sue Grafton. My first mysteries ever read (by me) were a series aboutthe Fellowes Twins, aged 6, and then Sherlock Holmes, alternating with Drew, and books by my own uncle, Grew, among them "The Wild Dog of Edmonton!"Love,nTo: Group <mserslife >Sent: Mon, August 9, 2010 6:35:09 PMSubject: favorite authors? I'm curious---who are your favorite authors? What kind of books do you like? This long weekend without power I finished a Helen MacInnes book called 'Ride a Pale Horse'. I have always loved her books about spies and espionage. I also read 'The Ghostway' by Tony Hillerman. I like Hillerman books because they are almost all in Arizona, namely the Four Corners. I lived several years in Farmington, NM and always enjoy the place references, as well as the story.I also like Sue Grafton but she doesn't write fast enough for me. lol I recently read her 'T is for Trespass'. I like Janet Evanovich and I'm looking forward to getting 'Sizzling Sixteen'. It's only in hard back so I've been lurking around ebay looking for a cheap steal on

it. I love J.A. Jance books as well. They are also often set in Arizona. She has some about a female sheriff in southern Arizona but my favorites are a new character from Sedona. Great reading! What about all of you? SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. I remember the Littles, which I read to my own kids, and I did notmention the Hardy Boys nor Agatha Christie. We all just read andread and read to the kids--I still do to the youngest grandchild.Such fun. My father, when he was away on business-related trips, used to send me crates of books; I was thrilled; still am; gave them allto my kids, there kids, all.Love to you, Sharon, and to all here,nFrom: Sharon
