Guest guest
Try vinegar on them. Sounds like lovely weekend, that's for sure! I'm jealous *grin* next time swing by Fl and pick me up on the way... ~*~Hugs~*~ ~*~Akiba~*~ -- relaxation... Hi everyone,I just spent the most wonderful weekend away. From Friday til Sunday,I was on my brother's boat with his wife and 2 of my youngest kids. We slept on the boat, named , Green Stamps, from the name of the co.my dad was the CEO for. If it wasn't for that job of my dad's, my brotherprobably wouldn't have afforded to buy a boat in the first place!Anyway,it was fantastic. Friday, we moored at Playland, an amusementpark, and saw beautiful fireworks. The rest of the weekend is a blur, but we rafted up with other boats and the kids got to go onboard a fewsailboats and check them out. We BBQd on the boat, and had all sortsof chips, dips, veggies, etc. Swimming and resting on floats and tubescompleted the weekend. My only complaint right now is that I have all sorts of bites, or perhapsjelly fish stings all over my chest, neck, armpits. They itch like cra zy, andI keep putting on benadryl cream, to no avail. Anyone ever have jelly fishstings/bites, and what do you do for them?Anyway, I hope everyone can have a day or weekend or such of the kindof relaxation I just enjoyed. It was so good for my spirit!Yesterday, to top things off, my hub and 3 kids went blueberry pickingat: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam%27s_Point_PreserveA very cool place. No pun intended! As there are ice caves there. Itwas treacherous walking so I was worried, and my legs starting shaking, but I made it through the caves, and up the mountain where the blueberriesand mulberries grow plentiful. Time for making muffins, pies, syrup and pancakes!love you all, love and blessings,Kate
