Guest guest
Peaches likes to get under my faux fur throw - when she gets warm she gets out from under it - she won't get on top of it - at least she stays quiet Not out the window, but on the couch.... Guest guest
That's Junior-G-Man (cat) and Pixie the Biscuit Hound - her mother was Basset, her dad 1/2 basset and 1/2 blue heeler. She and the cat are very close to the same size - and he thinks she's his " mommy " . The scene deteriorated right after that picture when he started washing her ears... :-) Most of ours don't like covers unless it's really REALLY cold, but the one cat we raised from less than a day old likes to sleep in the crook of my shoulder like a baby. Guest guest
Junior G-Man (cat) and Pixie - usually known as Junie-Moons and Pikkipoo. Found the cat under a pile of car parts when he was about 10 days old and bottle-raised him, rescued the dog at about 4 months from (fairly) benign neglect in a tiny outdoor pen with her mother, another adult female dog, and her 4 siblings... Guest guest
Max our Dalmatian always slept under the covers even when he grew to be 100 lbs. He thought we were part of the puppy pack, lol...but it was nice because he was so warm, and he curled up at the bend of my legs. He always had to have body contact when he was younger, but after he got a little older he preferred to sleep on the couch, and we covered him with a blanket at night. Was he spoiled?? Nawwww, just incredibly loved. ;-) Hugs, Jackie Subject: Re: Not out the window, but on the couch....To: MSersLife Date: Sunday, January 30, 2011, 3:36 PM During the cold weather my kitty Tuxie sleeps under the covers by my legs. Guest guest
when it gets dark it triggers Peaches to come in here and cuddle behind my knees God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there. Guest guest
Pixie the Biscuit Hound, huh? Pixie's face reminds me of our little Shiloh. Shiloh was dumped when he was about a month old. It's a good thing he made it to our house that afternoon because coyotes were out like crazy that evening and the little guy wouldn't have survived. When Shiloh went to get "fixed" the vet said he thought Shiloh was Basset and Doberman. The only dobie traits he has is the markings. We all call him our little pot bellied pig:) SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
Junior is my official stitching buddy - he comes running as soon as I settle down in the evening, and stretches out on my legs on the footstool. It has to be really really cold before I can put the blankie over him, though! Guest guest
years ago I went over and spent time with Portia my cousins black cat when he went out of town - I always put the blanket in my lap when I was doing needle work - Portia made a game about coming under the blanket and stretching up to get the yarn I was using - her other game was to climb up in the other chair and climb up into my down coat to sleep - being black her golden eyes really stood out God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there.
