October or November 2008 this year. It has already passed.

TDH will start checking for this starting tomorrow. So, if you don't have the

numbers on your truck, you will be " dingged " during an inspection. Also, as a

side note, I saw that Air-Evac did put their provider number on one of their

helicopters.

157.11 did pass, as stated several months ago. But, I'm sure this will be

looked at once again, as GETAC has been given the OK to reopen this rule by TDH.

Does anyone have answers to a few questions here? 1) is the state

now enforcing this rule or is there a grace period? 2) what is the

penalty for not having this information displayed? 3) does this

apply to all vehicles in the agency (ie: fire engines if a fire-based

operation)? 4) does this apply to first responder agencies?

Did DETAC take out the part about tattooing the ambulance provider number on

medics foreheads and left butt cheeks????? heeehee...
