the BD wishes

Thanks everyone, it was a quiet day. I had dinner with and his family with a much too big BD cake! Sorry I'm so quiet lately but I'm in one of those "examine your life" moods which I hope I'll get out of ASAP.

I've been reading as much as I can about CCSVI and at least for me, I think there's a lot of merit to the theory. And yes, I'm fighting here in Canada and hoping I'll be able to at least be tested without having to fly to another country. Actually that's out of the question because of the $'s.

My major thing is I know I have to do the rest of the work in the house and sell it. As much as I hate them, it's apt time. I've been applying for a few jobs .. but being that I'm a gimpy unbalanced 62 yr old, I'm not having any luck. I still have a mortage .... because of ex, there has been 5 mortages on this house with my only knowing about the first but stuck with the rest. Anyway I get so tired and confused that I don't even know where to start ... and the good weather is running out.

Btw, I don't qualify for either the CPP or CPP Disability ... I worked in the family business for over 25 yrs and didn't pay into it :(. Never thought I'd end up divorced.

Anyway will try to catch up tomorrow and those who live in apts, tell me how you handled the transition from a relatively big home to one .... hugs, Cait

So you are feeling retrospective and contemplative? I get like that too at times. Usually for me it comes after Christmas and leads up to, and past, New Year's Day. What a bummer about the mortgages you have been stuck with. What a lousy things for the ex to do to you! I am assuming CPP and CPP Disability is the Canadian version of our Social Security? Doesn't Canada have something for those who don't qualify for CPP? Here we have something called SSI that can supplement Social Security or, in many cases, is instead of Social Security when a person didn't pay in to Social Security through their employment. I hope something will happen for you soon, Cait. I worry about you!hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
