Not quite outside my window – but almost

I almost literally stumbled over this owl today. Had it not made a startled movement when I was about a feet from it I WOULD have stumbled on it, because I didn't notice it until then (I am known for being kind of preoccupied especially when walking, I suppose the animal world should be warned about this too...).I did take this photo with my old cellphone – the only camera I was carrying at the time – and then went to get my real camera, but unfortunately, only came back in time to see the owl take off, not in time to take a photo. That's why the photo isn't a very high resolution one (to say the least).love/Reb
