Guest guest
We used All One Kids. It is very 'clean' of preservatives and dyes. It does have soy lecithin, so if soy is a very big issue for you, it is out. We were very happy with it and mixed it into shakes- could also go into juice very well or applesauce. It adds very little flavor. Apparently it is on an incredible sale right now at this site: http://supplementdirect.com/all-onekidsformulavitaminandmineral30daysupply795oz.\ aspx ONE BIG THING to watch out for when using LIQUID VITAMINS- they almost always contain sodium benzoate as a preservative. This converts to Benzene in the body, a solvent which creates free radicals, causing increased oxidative stress. Sodium benzoate is linked specifically to exacerbation of ADHD. I'll paste a link below- it is not the best link, it is to a page selling some sodium benzoate free drink of some sort, but I can't find my pubmed article on it and the information on the site is good enough. Benzene is also a salicylate, which the Feingold diet and many others relate to avoid with Autism/ADHD. Lastly, parasite experts say that solvents in the body hasten the hatching of parasite eggs, so that more hatch inside of your body instead of being passed out through stool. Here's the not best link on sodium benzoate- I'll keep looking for the better article: http://www.energydrinktruth.com/dangersofpreservatives.html > > > Hi, > > > > My 5 y.o. son with ADHD will not take any vitamins. I have tried so many. I have even tried bribery. Can anyone suggest a liquid that I could give him like a medicine? He's a very picky eater and I want to make sure that he is getting what he needs (nutritionally). > > > > Thanks, > > Rhonda > > > > >
