They were either from pigs we'd raised or from locally raised pigs or lamb at my Dad's slaughterhouse. Never have had them raw but knowing the flavor they're not something you want to hide the flavor of like liver. I had detox symptoms just doing Thai Kitchen Pure coconut milk which I'm not sure is even considered raw as its canned. Turned out to be parasites I didn't even know I had. Once that was over I've been fine with it since.Have been eating nearly raw ground beef with no problem but I know who and how it was grown. Six raw shrimp few weeks ago made my stomach do a flip flop. From those experiences I'll stick with if I don't know its entire history and its meat take it slowly or not at all. The more raw I eat otherwise is really making a difference with my digestion. I have been noticing my liver like Carmen or Carma said. Hopefully its just my body working better with detoxing and my liver letting me know it. Wanita

I'm not sure it's a good sign. In which way do you notice your liver? Roman __________________________________________________

I do have liver spots on my lower back that appeared while carrying my youngest daughter. I appear to be healing in layers which makes sense to me. First my wrinkles lessened sinuses, hair, skin improved, skinny arms got more muscle definition and body stress feelings lessened.Would have kidney pain before too but not recently. I'd say that what Mark said in another thread " Raw fats also bind with toxins to help prevent the toxins from doing damage to body organs, joints, etc. " is true here and I could be noticing it in my liver.
