Guest guest
We are patients of Dr. Bradstreet so I don't know.We did nagalese and vitamin D level testing. I'm thinking those are the only 2 tests needed. But I'm not sure about that either, I'll ask during our next appointment. And just FYI, nagalese was 65$ and I believe the D level was covered by insurance. .....anna To: "mb12valtrex " <mb12valtrex > Sent: Wednesday, April 25, 2012 12:59 PM Subject: Re: gcmaf I like to know if you have to be Dr Bradstreet pt to be able to do this or you can just order yourself,ThanksLili To: "mb12valtrex " <mb12valtrex > Sent: Wednesday, April 25, 2012 12:20 PM Subject: Re: gcmaf We will be starting them soon. Here is Dr. Bradstreet's latest blog post about it. - fantastic!http://drbradstreet dot org/2012/04/24/speech-finally-for-a-child-with-autism-or-what-do-jellyfish-have-to-offer-autism-therapy/#comment-2201Here is a very basic video about it. Guest guest
Hi , I have used gcmaf for my son who is 8 1/2 years old. Answering your question is not easy for me as the last few months on gcmaf have been full of ups and downs. When we first started gcmaf, after the 4th shot, all of a sudden, we felt like my son was more aware of his surroundings. He started exploring new activities and his eye contact was much better. His academic improved also. My son has had multiple regressions in the past and when I say that he improved, I mean that he got better from his second regression. Then we started dealing with sudden tantrums, screaming and some aggression. We treated clostridia based on clinical symptoms. We were treating yeast at the same time with nystatin. We were using curcumin which was the first supplement that seemed to give us results. So it was hard for me to say that gcmaf was giving me the improvements. Then we continued with it and then at higher doses, we were constantly dealing with 3 horrible days in the week and 2 good days and 2 ok days. Then he had flu towards the end of february and then he had sudden onset of pandas like symptoms and we had to treat him with azithromycin and advil. I believe that my son has PANS/PITANDS which he had before also but now he has more inflammation than before he used gcmaf. I cannot say that he is a nonresponder or he had phenomenal results from gcmaf. He did get a lot of benefits as this year, the teacher is finally able to work on his academics, he got better in his handwriting and his understanding. But now we are dealing with a lot of inflammation and tantrums which are difficult to deal with. I am trying to fix his phenol sensitivity which has worsened this allergy season. He has maintained the little gain in speech that he has made even after stopping the gcmaf. Do I recommend it? I am not sure how to answer this as my son had both improvements and problems. May be his problems are related to gcmaf and may be his other issues are the culprit. If you want, you can email me if you have specific questions about gcmaf. Good luck is > > Hi. Guest guest
Hi is-What are you (and any others!!!) doing to try to fix phenol sensitivity? Anything besides avoidance of certain foods and no-fenol? My son is still soooo sensitive and it is worse this allergy season for us, too. Thanks everyone!Kim Hi , I have used gcmaf for my son who is 8 1/2 years old.
