Guest guest
We are all hoping hard for you, Donna!Love to you and to Earl,nTo: MSersLife Sent: Tue, August 17, 2010 3:38:34 PMSubject: Re: anyone heard from Donna in PA? Okie Dokie.. I'm home again home again jiggity-jig... As I figured.. I caught a bit of guff because I haven't been taking the Copaxone.. and he was once again Adamant about my being on something... so.. after much discussion I will be starting Copaxone once again as soon as the pharmacy gets it shipped in.. at least with the new insurance company it shouldn't have to be mail-ordered type thing through "their" pharmacy.. when I see him in January then we'll talk about the Ampyra.. He immediately nixed the Fingolomoid (sp?).. as he did the Tysabri.. said I wasn't having a problem with the Copaxone, and no side-effects type deal.. until I got scared over that strange reaction (that I thought could have been the start of necrosis).. he kinda sorta told me that necrosis would be easier to fix than the other side-effects that could arise.. He didn't suggest Betaseron or Rebif, because I suffered the flu-like symptoms for 4 years.. (that shouldn't have been allowed to be ongoing).. No keepy me, but sent me downstairs to the lab so I could pee in a cup for them.. I think he figures between most likely having a UTI (I've got no symptoms, but then with a numb tushy would be a bit difficult to "feel the burn") and the dentist having me on 1500 mg of Amoxicillin a day.. until he gets the approval and stuff to get these teeth outta my mouth and such... that once they get these "infections" (or what he thinks are infections) cleared... this numb from the waist down will stop as well... I hope he's right and that it works and the Copaxone works for me as well as it did back when I started.. and then I'll be able to park the power chair and get back to the business of.. well.. walking would be a good start..unassisted would be an even better thing... So I is at home.. dealing as best I can.. smelling what Earl is cooking in the kitchen for dinner.. and my mouth is watering and my belly is growling..
