Well, I don't know how cute the dog thought it was, but they did settle

down and nap like that for more than an hour... :-D

BTW, Pixie 9the dog) absolutely hates wearing her sweater. The fact that

she left it on so long shows how cold it was...

They look so cute, but I have to admit your dog looks mortified to have not only a sweater on but a CAT on top of him/her! lol...But then again Bassets look sorrowful all the time with those big droopy eyes. I asked my husband if he wanted a basset and he said no, but I think they are soooooo cute. He said no to a great dane too. :-( lol...Its all in the eyes. :-)

It's all in the dog's eyes, or YOUR eyes, when you ask your hubby for a dog? lol.I guess I hadn't realized that is a basset that has. They are very cute dogs, but do they howl, or is that just beagles?Enjoy all you doggy lovers! Yeah, she pretty much looks like that all the time - but she's just been

outside in 15-below-zero weather, she was cold, she had to wear her sweater,

and then to add insult to injury... :-D

She's only mostly a Basset. Mom = Basset, Dad = 1/2 basset, 1/2 blue

heeler.

As you can see, she's nowhere near the size of a real basset - about the

size of a really large dachshund...

She (and the SHep-Malamute cross) " sings " every now and then, but

nothing

like the constant noise a lot of beagles make.
