Guest guest
It has been so cold here! (--ignore that because I can't compete with your temps:) Wednesday early morning temp was 11 below and this morning it was 15 below. I left water running in the kitchen sink last night to keep it from freezing but it didn't help. Our house pipes were frozen most of the day. My son worked for hours on defrosting the pipes and we finally had water at 3 p.m. Water! The well was also frozen so it was an all day ordeal. You can imagine how happy my son was. lol The high temp today was 18.The forecast is for 6 degrees tonight. If it's true, it will be nice to be above zero once again. It is 11 degrees right now at 8:30 p.m. Temps are forecast to be climbing up to 51 by Monday. That will be so nice:)The neighbor kids went home today and my daughter's two girls went home this evening. It seems quiet with only 4 grandkids left in the house:)hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
It feels kind of strange to hear about that kind of weather in your part of the world, when we are having an almost spring here in our northern parts... Guest guest
Gee whiz, Sharon, I recall those days. Good you have water on hand; that's what we always did. It's 16 here at 8:50am. My daughter is having an OUTDOOR hockey game tonight at 7:30. I can't even imagine how cold it's going to be then!We just all need to 'chill out', or 'chillax' as my kids would say; sit back, and wait for the thaw!Just went out and got toe and hand warmers for the game tonight; hopefully that will help a bit. Also got my daughter what they call--under armour, thin layer that you put close to you and layer on top of. Maybe that will keep her a bit warmer also.Take care of yourself!love, KateTo: Group <mserslife >Sent: Thu, February 3, 2011 10:41:30 PMSubject: Weather report from Arizona It has been so cold here!
