How early to start fish oil and probiotics?

I have an 17 Month Old, he is doing great with cognitive and motor planning

etc. We just had EI come in and there is a big concern with only Speech.

Delays, like not using consonents, not speaking functional words yet like

mama or dada fluently, but is imitating sounds - mostly vowels. I am

wondering, how early can we possibly start with a multi vitamin ,fish oil

and probiotics?

Any product suggestions for toddlers? And other suggestions, like DHA?

We also have not put him on any diets yet, except mostly organic and trying

to give more fruit and veggies. He is a great eater. So far, he seems great,

except the speech, he is communicating though. Wants, needs, demands,

responds to speech, plays, great eye contact. He is also imitating the

intonation of speech, but the physical aspect is just off slightly. Any

ideas to help?

We have another son with Autism 8 YO. Very verbal, HF, but obviously global

speech issues. On GF/CF and many supps and has fat digestion issues.

Just wondering if anyone can give us some suggestions.

Thanks

Jacquie

I give my 18 month old probiotic for infants (pharmax or klaire labs). Nordic Naturals sells cod fish oil for baby. I also give to him thorne children multivitamin, Vit C, Transfer factor and he is on gfcf diet. I introduced all the supplements very slowly. I juice everyday for the family and try to eat organic when I can.

Good luck
