Guest guest
Oh, Sharon, I am so very sorry that you do not have Prednisone available! My neurologist says that nearly one-third of all his MS patients also have TN,and that about one quarter have diabetes. Love and hope your way--for the weather to clear so that someone can getthrough to the pharmacy for you,nTo: MSersLife Sent: Sat, February 5, 2011 7:02:46 PMSubject: Re: feeling a little better today (Trigeminal Neuralgia) I guess I spoke a little too soon when I said it was better. It hit again with a vengence this afternoon and I am drained from the pain. It has eased off again now but I won't jinx myself again by saying it's better:) lol I didn't start the prednisone, n, because I haven't been able to get it yet. The pharmacy is an hour away. I think what triggered it this afternoon was going outside to fill the bird feeders. It was a colder wind that I expected and I believe that set off the pain. I'm going to stay INSIDE tomorrow. I'm looking forward to bedtime tonight..... SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
I took part in a teleconference with Dr. Vollmer and he said basically the same as your neurologist. He also said 39% (I think that was his number) of people with bilaterial trigeminal neuralgia have MS as well. I will try to get the prednisone in the next few days. love to you, nSharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
