Guest guest
Hi nYes, this global warming thing is a big issue everywhere. Our dam is 75% full, now that's great news. But it's still not raining here like before. While the rest of South Africa is drowning as well. It's a crisis, most of the farmers won't have any produce this year, hope I said that correct. LOL My English still needs a lot of work. And the heat in Mossel Bay is dreadful. I think I told you about the night that it was 76 degrees F after midnight. It was unbearable to sleep. So it's definitely getting out of hand.It seems that the world is turning upside down, rain in places where there shouldn't be (well, at least not that much, anyway) and drought where it should be raining.I keep checking on my little chameleons, because the heat is dangerous for them. At least they are willing to drink water when I give it to them, otherwise they won't survive at all.Love to all of you To: MSersLife Sent: Sun, February 6, 2011 6:39:35 AMSubject: weather and zoo animals/ a distraction, and just plain sad for everyone in the SW http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/lt_mexico_frigid_weather_animalsJust an example of our global weather crises in the above article. Two days ago it was far colder in Austin, Texas, for example, thanin Fairbanks, Alasa-----And we are in drought here in California while Australia is drowningmud and water! And the ice continues to melt at both poles, and over all, the planetis having its 2nd warmest year since records were kept!
