Guest guest
Hello, all... I have been giving my son Alpha Lipoic Acid as a chelator (we are doing Andy Cutler Protocol), and I've noticed that both rounds I've done have caused the bumps and redness on his cheeks to clear up! The first round we did ALA only, and this round we've added DMSA. I'm desperate to find out if this is pointing to a supplement need/metabolic defect (sorta via the Yasko protocol) that he might have. The ALA we are using also has Rosemary leaf in it. His Kreb's Cycle is all jacked up...possibly due to high Arabinose (yeast!), possibly due to heavy metals, or maybe just inborn errors....but I know his metabolic cycle does not look good. Do any of you know whether the ALA w/Rosemary might be correcting one of the cycles (ie., methylation, etc.), from which we might figure out which cycle he's having problems with? I always wonder when I'm giving him foods with oxalates, salycilates (sp?), etc...whether he should really be getting those foods. Thanks for ANY info you can figure out from this! , mom to , 4-1/2 yrs old Mild-Mod ASD, Nonverbal Round 1, 5mg ALA currently Round 2, 5mg ALA, 5mg DMSA

I just responded to you on the other board, but wanted to be sure you knew that Rosemary is a NF-kB inhibitor.Sent from my iPhone Hello, all...
