Guest guest
wow, that is actually an eyeopener for me. my son stopped breathing x 3 and no one knew what happened and why. Everyone knew that might be an infection b/c his white count was high, but he could not tell me how he feels b/c of his autism. The doctor later told me he did have ear-infection, and respiratory problems but nothing specific. This might of been an answer or at least something they should of looked at. Thanks for this post, I be talking to my pediatrician about this.Tunde From my searches on the web Adenovirus 14 it is an emergent virus since last year, also called " killer cold " . Symptoms include all kinds of respiratory issues, including Pneumonia, GI issues, conjunctivitis, ear infections, headache, nervous issues including anxiety, dehydration, constant mucus in the throat - all of which we had and are having since Christmas. It is dragging on and on and switching symptoms on us - and everyone else I talk to. My grandfather died of it. I'm just wondering if anyone else is experiencing these symptoms and what can be done about it. Antivirals and antifungals? What kind? Thanks, Dorote -- " Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter. " MLK
Guest guest
These sounds like symptoms of mycoplasma pneumonia. Guest guest
Mycoplasma pneumonia causes " walking pneumonia " , but it's a bacterial infection that should be taken care of with antibiotics. All those folks around here that took antibiotics still have continued symptoms.... My neighbor noticed a rash on her son's trunk after antibiotics though but he still has the cough and mucus... If it is mycoplasma, then why all the vomiting and diarrhea and then light colored stool every two weeks, and why our bodies cannot get rid of it for sooooooo long? Please let me know if you have any progress in this mystery - thanks!!!! Guest guest
Definitely not disputing what you have just commenting that the symptoms sounded like myco p. have you checked for Lyme as well? Immune function. Yeast. Parasites? Btw. My son has myco p and he has been on 3 different ab's for it since july We are having trouble bringing down the titers. Need to test again but myco p can be one much more than walking pneumonia and it, too, can be hard to get rid of. Wishing you all health.
