Guest guest
Hi everyone, Alinia liquid preparation has red dye in it and my son cannot tolerate that. I want to switch to tablet form but it comes in 500 mg tabs. Wanted to know if anyone has used it for their kids and how much did you give and how much the child weighed? Guest guest
Our liquid Alinia is slightly yellowish from Lee Silsby. Is that the color of the Alinia you have? Guest guest
We were using the alinia from a regular pharmacy and it contained the red dye and was actually like cherry color. I didn't know Lee silsby is compounding it now. When I had called them, they said they couldn't. I will call them on monday. And my son's LFTs were fine before alinia and once the red dye wore off, he did do better. Magnesium sulfate is still helping with his symptoms but I am scared that whatever caused the anxiety and ocd is slowly creeping up again. is > > > Hi everyone, > > > > Alinia liquid preparation has red dye in it and my son cannot tolerate that. Guest guest
Thanks ! So you are giving 500 mg twice a day for 3 days around the full moon. My kid weighs more than your kids and yours are actually tolerating an adult dose. Have you ever used it for a longer time? What gains did you notice with it? Do you monitor LFTs with it? Thanks for your help is > > > > Hi everyone, > > > > Alinia liquid preparation has red dye in it and my son cannot tolerate that. I want to switch to tablet form but it comes in 500 mg tabs.
