I took my prednisone and my last dose was yesterday. This evening the TN pain is returning. I've never used prednisone for my my TN, Sharon. I am on lamictal and neurontin for it, and it seems to be holding it at bay for now, though I do get break-through pain. Perhaps a regimen of meds for about a month might help get you through this rough patch. I know I need my meds.
