Dear Margaret,I cannot but wonder, though it is good that your neuro doc got you the chair--whether he has another explanation for your condition; most auto-immune diseases are related, and from what you tell us, I am not sure that he is right.I think they should be able to diagnose you with something, though. Meanwhile,we are glad to have you back with us, no matter what kind of "surprise" youmay have., and it may be true that you cannot drive without authorizationfrom a competent neurologist; here in California. One cannot drive without alicense, and they do want clearance from the driver's doctors to renew the license.I think that manual controls may well be the best option, but a good neurologistwill need to diagnose you and approve that as

Hi Everyone, I have been busy for the last few weeks. I also didn't have internet at home. I just got it in again. I have been told by the doctors that I don't have MS it is because nothing is showing up on the MRI's. I don't believe them. I am having a lot of trouble with my legs right now. They can't tell me why they are acting up. I should be getting my chair in about 2 weeks. I am looking forward to having it. I am still falling about 3 times a week. I may be getting hand controls so that I can drive. My neuro told me not to drive at all because of my legs.I want to welcome all the new members. You will love it here. I have found it to be very helpful when I have had questions about MS or
