Guest guest
HelloWe started with No Fenol two weeks ago then added Kirkman Labs "Spectrum Complete" last week. I allowed my son to have raspberries and watermelon over the last couple of days bolstered with the fact we were giving him No Fenol. This week he started on the Revitapops (Oral MB12).Over the last few weeks we have noticed more language and yesterday even more language, eye contact but also hyperactivity and generally more ADHD type behavior than usual. Do you know if any of the above: the multi vits, the MB12 or the phenolic foods- could be a cause of this hyperactive behavior? Would love to hear your thoughts....we are (obviously) loving the language but the hyperactivity.....aaaargh. No easy way out, is there. Guest guest
Hi there, It could be phenols. Spectrum complete contains P5P 5 mgs and that interferes with phenolsulfotransferase activity. A lot of parents love no phenol but I didn't really see much result. What worked for me is epsom salt foot soaks and now I have switched to magnesium sulfate cream by kirkman and that has been the best. I had run out of no phenol by houston enzymes so I got kirkman phenol assist but since we started it, my son has been having some discomfort and he has been crying again and screaming. Another parent reported a similar experience with phenol assist. My understanding is that both no fenol and phenol assist destroy the yeast wall also and although enzyme makers claim that there shouldn't be any die off, I feel like that is what my son is experiencing. He responded to baking soda which usually works when he is dealing with yeast die off causing a lot of acidity. During the allergy season, phenol sensitivity gets worse. Supporting methylation should help with that. I also see a much better academic performance with MB12 and when I forget the shots for few days, my son's attention and focus goes downhill. I would recommend removing high phenolic foods and adding magnesium sulfate cream 3-4 times a day. is > > > Hello > > We started with No Fenol two weeks ago then added Kirkman Labs " Spectrum Complete " last week. Guest guest
I apply mag sulfate cream 3 times a day on his back. I also use magnesium glycinate orally 100 mg twice a day to avoid constipation. So he gets a total of 300 mg topically and 200 mg orally. is > > > > > > Hello > > > > We started with No Fenol two weeks ago then added Kirkman Labs " Spectrum Complete " last week. Guest guest
Please excuse my ignorance (I am a newbie to all of this)...why do you used magnesium? What does it do? Why is it good? My son seems to be sensitive to phenols (his ears gets red) and he seems to get more...agitated, hyper...so we are pulling all the med to high ones out of his diet to see what he can tolerate.
