Guest guest
Big business, money, george bush, money more important than consumer safety...like many states in the us but I have impression it would be worse than some states...just my guess haven't done the research...i do know california is always ahead on this (bpa, better emission controls I believe, warnings for consumers on potentially dangerous products etc)...-- Sent from my Palm Pre , Why would you be weary of Tx. Guest guest
California is also pro Big Pharma. Last year, they passed a law making it legal for kids as young as 12 to get the "STD " vaccs (such as HPV) without a parent's knowledge or consent. So keep in mind that your 12 year old can go to the school nurse with a headache and walk out of her office vaccinated without you ever knowing or consenting to it. They are also in the process of trying to pass a law that will require a doctor's signature stating that you have been informed of the dangers of not vaccinating if you choose to sign an exemption. Cali wouldnt be my first choice. Tammy Sent from my Kindle Fire Sent: Fri May 11 07:22:28 EDT 2012 To: " mb12valtrex " <mb12valtrex > Subject: Re: Re Need to relocate, which states are better?? Guest guest
If you are interested in services for your kid, CA offers one of the best services esp. Silicon Valley. Mind Institute is located in CA (AFAIK, the director's son is autistic). My son's therapist has lived in silicon valley with her autistic twins and she recommended me to move to CA if I decide to leave NY but don't go south was her answer (don't know why). Noel Although, california has good homeschool laws. Tammy F. California is also pro Big Pharma. Guest guest
When I lived in Austin,Tx. I found the social services government agencies saw me as a burden. They seemed to not want to help.My experience was awful there.(I saw it as, pull up your bootstraps and get to work) despite being very ill.
