"Falling is NEVER good, sharon, NEVER. you can break a bone, hip or rib and then be in a worse situation than just dealing with MS every day, ya know? You need to go to your doctor and get a bone density test (dexa scan) and if your doctor says, you need to take calcium daily. (i take 500mg 3x a day for my bones) If you fall and get hurt, you will be soooo miserable. ms is bad enough...falling is just a gambling game NOT to be played, k? move slowly, deliberately and always hold on to something. that's what i do and so far, knock on wood, it's worked for me. i may be slow, lol, but since i started holding on and moving slow, lol, i don't fall."
