How long is strep throat contagious?

I was talking to Maia's EA today and she was away for most of last week bc she had strep throat. It's been abt 5 days now and she's been on abx since and is just finishing up her abx. Are people still contagious after 5 days. A lot of sources on google are saying no -- but just checking here to see if people know different (I'm just worried bc Maia has a tendency for strep overgrowth).
