Guest guest
is, Yes, rain is a mold issue...this is where we here get informed & proactive. Even some of the sunny hummid places like Florida still need to be careful of mold. You can educate yourself & try to avoid things like slab/cement foundations w/carpeting, old damp areas like an old basement (I'd avoid older homes just because of the lead pipes). Here's some links to some of my mold links from my " favorites spreadsheet " that I've kept these many biomed years: Mold: Survivingmold.com - Dr. Ritchie Shoemaker's website http://www.holistichelp.net/mold.html VCS vision test, Molds, Mycotoxins & Lyme http://www.chronicneurotoxins.com/learnmore/fungaltoxins.cfm from: http://www.chronicneurotoxins.com/learnmore/fungaltoxins.cfm " A PRIMER IN SICK BUILDING SYNDROME LESSONS FROM THE SOMERSET COUNTY DISTRICT COURT " VCS testing becomes a mandatory part of the yearly school health evaluation, just like a hearing test and a visual acuity. And that will happen only when groups like the PTA demand action and no longer put up with empty statements, like " mold isn't harmful. " Remediation is costly, but so is impaired ability to learn " " symptoms: fatigue, weakness, aches, cramp, unusual stabbing pains, sensitivity to bright light, tearing, blurred vision, headaches, sinus congestion, cough, shortness of breath, abdominal cramping, rashes, skin sensitivity, memory impairment, confusion, difficulty in concentration, impaired ability to concentrate or find words in conversation, metallic taste, numbness, tingling, vertigo and mood changes too. She kept getting sicker & sicker...many of her classmates as well. Turns out there were so many sick at the school that the school was investigated & they closed it down to remediate mold. Turns out it was a former fish processing plant & was not cleaned up properly before turning it into a high school....it was filled w/mold. This could happen anywhere, not just Seattle area. My best advise, just like all the biomed stuff we do....get informed...looking into things is important. Guest guest
Thank you so much Rita! Your responses have so much info that I cannot even finish reading up from those sites, plus I am fighting a cold(lots of brain fog:(( I have shared the info you provided with my husband who has to look for a job there. In my line of work, I can find something anywhere but he has to make sure before moving that he will be able to find some opportunities. Is it ok if I bother you via email once we have explored the WA area and have questions for you? Also can you share the names of some of the good docs in WA? Thanks again for all your help. is
