Guest guest
I apologize for the bitterness, I am so over doctors tryig to intimidate me into doing something I don't want to do and shooting up antibiotics " just in case " . No one wants to listen and I am so frustrated !!!!!! How do you handle these situations where your not sure if what's going on is serious or not and then some doctor says " you don't want to take a chance with this, just in case " . Both my kids swell up like crazy with mosquito bites and now it just so happens it was close enough to his eye. He litteraly looked like he he got beat up, poor baby. He was happy, it didn't cause him any pain, he had no fever, no drainage. What was I supposed to do, any advice ? Ok I think I am done ranting now ! Sorry ! Guest guest
My son used to get swollen like that when he got bit. It was scary, but I did not gave him antibiotic. I watched the swelling applied cortisone on it and it went away. Sometimes I gave him benadryl for it. Once he was attacked by fire ants and that time he had to be on Antibiotic. I increased his probiotic and gave him fermented veggies all day long. Guest guest
Is the area around eye just swollen or red as well? Periorbital cellulitis is dangerous and needs antibiotics. Who diagnosed it? If it is indeed periorbital cellulitis then you do need to use antibiotics. Just use high dose probiotics away from antibiotics regularly. If you do have a dan and your child has had yeast, it is a good idea to have an antifungal on board. is > > I apologize for the bitterness, I am so over doctors tryig to intimidate me into doing something I don't want to do and shooting up antibiotics " just in case " . Guest guest
This used to happen to my son ALL the time. It was awful. Mosquito bites would get huge to the point where he looked disfigured and it would stay that way for days at a time. .It has gotten better since starting biomed and cleaning up his dief. Now when he gets a bite, I immediately rub in grapeseed oil. It quickly flattens the bite. Tammy Sent from my Kindle Fire
