My 2 yo was bit by a mosquito right above his eye brow on Wednesday and his eye

got very swollen the next day. It wasn't responding to Allegra or Benadryl so I

had to bring him in yesterday. They told me that he has periorbital cellulitis

and received a rocepgin injection. I really didn't want to do this to him, we

have been working in his gut so hard with a very restricted diet. We have to go

back today and I am afraid that he will have to receive another injection

because it looks pretty much the same. He also talked about putting him on

course of augmentin. Ugh I hate this. Other than probiotics what can I give him

to protect his gut while taking all that crap ?
