Guest guest
Hi everyone, I am flying to Chicago with my family in two days. The family we are going to stay with has two kids who were sick last week, one with atypical pneumonia and other with ear infection. I am starting my son on daily azithromycin as with him I cannot take a risk because of his PANS. My husband and I will be on zeepak also. I am concerned about my 3 year old unvaccinated daughter. The girl with atypical pneumonia may still be shedding mycoplasma when we get there and my little one has almost lived in a bubble with me as she is not vaccinated. Should I put her on prophylaxis also? My kids don't do well on naturals otherwise I was thinking may be something like OLE or GSE may help. By the time we get there, it would be day 10 of antibiotic for the girl. Also is there something that I can use to prevent earache during the flight? Few years ago, my son's pediatrician had given him something to prevent ear pain during the flight but I can't recall what it was, prescription or over the counter. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. is
Guest guest
There is a natural specifically for myco p from Raintree. May help so you don't all have to go in antibiotics. Guest guest
is,I'd do monolaurin & OLE both in small amounts unless unvaccinated child is too young. Like 1 mini pellet monolaurin & 50 mg OLE 2 x daily to start ( barleans mint flavor) to start & increase from there using your best judgement.Sent from my iPhone Hi everyone, I am flying to Chicago with my family in two days. Guest guest
Hello, I just searched this site ( Raintree) and came up with this great info on mycoplasma. http://rainforest-database.com/plants/myco.htm We were dealing with myco pneumonia since Christmass - all kinds of crazy symptoms cycling through our bodies: pneumonia, conjunctivitis and ear infections, vomiting, diarrhea, mucus in throat until now, anxiety, dehydration, constipation, what else? Ruth, what did Rainforest suggest for it? I can't find it on their site. Thanks Dorote > > > Hi everyone, > > > > I am flying to Chicago with my family in two days. Guest guest
Have you considered having her wear a mask in the airport/on the plane? I'd also keep her hands very clean during flights/walking through airports.I know you guys have a super-hard time with naturals. Would you be able to juice high antioxident drinks while you're gone? Get her out in the sun as much as you can.You know to keep up the probiotics. I have no good ideas to prevent ear pain from flying. : (Have a great trip!Tammy From: alexis_d3378 To: mb12valtrex Sent: Wednesday, May 23, 2012 8:47 AM Subject: Re: Travelling with unvaccinated child, need advice!
