Guest guest
ok I just made some home made yogurt and use a regular plain yogurt as starter, it tuned out very well... But as I am looking for casein free yogurt starter, i noticed that it is very expensive.....of course.....but we have tons of probiotics hanging around the house , as I bet all of you do also..... sooooo......why can we just use the probiotics as starter for yogurt? I think it would work in a soy or rice milk what do you think?
Guest guest
I do this all the time with custom probiotics 1, using coconut milk and add tapioca pearls in it for extra consistancy. This is the recipe i followed but used custom probiotics 1 instead of the starter the lady in the video used. x To: mb12valtrex From: slacker361@...Date: Sat, 29 Oct 2011 18:55:05 +0000Subject: home made yogurt ok I just made some home made yogurt and use a regular plain yogurt as starter, it tuned out very well... Guest guest
So you are able to make yogurt with probiotics that don't include a strep strain? I have always heard you have to have the strep strain for the yogurt to thicken. I used to make homemade yogurt, but haven't been able to because all the starters have a strep strain and we have PANDAS in the house.
