Guest guest
Have you tried that " orange pudding " CLO? We haven't. My son is tube fed, so we use Kirkman's liquid. > > > > > Subject: Fish oil blues > To: mb12valtrex > Date: Saturday, October 29, 2011, 12:55 PM > > > > > > > > > Â > > > > > > > > > > Anyone know an easy way to give Speak fish oil? Guest guest
A nice soul on this list once told me about mashed baby food bananas to mix supplements in. We mix everything in them. Since then, I have gotten adventurous and branched out into step 2 baby food where the fruits are mixed; apples, peaches, etc. The mixed fruits are of a bit looser consistency than just mashed bananas, so I prefer them. My husband is still stuck on the mashed bananas, so during his childcare shift, he only uses mashed bananas, probably because he himself has always loved bananas. I mix the fish oil in these baby food fruits, too. Then I use a syringe to suck it and squirt it into my daughter's mouth in little bits while she watches a show she likes. We follow it immediately with a drink she likes.
Guest guest
Okay, one more idea. 17 years ago, when my oldest one was little, a coworker told me " you can mix anything in chocolate ice cream, and your kid won't know " . This was a bossy, preachy coworker, and I didn't like it when she was right, but she was right every time. Now, if your kid is casein-free, I think I've seen casein-free chocolate ice cream in health food stores.
Guest guest
Or, at the supermarket, like Kroger. The one we buy is coconut milk, so only buy it if you can handle the coconut (not flavor-wise, but allergy). > > Okay, one more idea. 17 years ago, when my oldest one was little, a coworker told me " you can mix anything in chocolate ice cream, and your kid won't know " .
