Guest guest
Yes, he is DNR. It is a logical question. They have all names and numbers; one of my brothers has POA, I think my older sister has medical power of attorney. Guest guest
been there done that wore out the tee shirt My Lady Mother is still at Willow - Steve passed 3 years ago - she is DNR - when she isn't given her dilantin she has seizures and she does go unconscious - so to cover the corporations rear they ship her to ER - when I was there I had Steve to back me up and I knew she was DNR a good friend of our was a funeral director and we all got the lecture since we were divorced - you have to have your wishes on paper in writing and notarized you would not believe what families are put through back in the mid 70's I was a ward clerk/unit secretary - I saw too much and I made the decision then - no machines - no tubes - I made sure my sons and my MIL knew my wishes - since I am divorced - my heart sisters have my POA and my MPOA - I am not an earth burial - my body will be taken to a medical school as a cadaver so the students can see what their peers screwed up I will then be cremated and my ashes will be spread in the high mountains by a friend God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there.
