Guest guest
My older sister, Pat, she'll be 58 in March, called the other day. Apparently, she had gone to the bathroom and it looked like, as she put it, someone poured a bottle of coke in the toilet. To make a long story short, they got some labs back, and it sounds like they suspect possible malignant bladder tumor. PLEASE keep her in your prayers along with my dad. She goes in on Tuesday, so hopefully, she'll have something more definitive then. But, Lord willing, no cancer. Thanks everyone!love you all,Kate

Guest guest
Hi Kate,....does your sister have any other symptoms? Pain, etc? I found the following when I looked up coke colored urine: Urine typically is a shade of yellow. There are a few disorders which change the color of urine in a dramatic way. To be specific one should see their doctor. Generally when urine gets brown or Coke colored it suggests a liver or bile duct problem. Red urine can be blood or can look red from certain medicines. Black urine is classic for a genetic defect. The shades of yellow of urine are usually related to the concentrated of urine. Also I read there are certain medications that can change the color of your urine. One that comes to mind is an antidepressant called: Savella, my husband is on it and there is a side effect listed as dark colored urine. Hopefully it isn't anything serious with Pat, and I will keep her in my prayers. Guest guest
keep trying until they give you answers and options - my big brother in NJ was diagnosed with prostate cancer in the late 90's - I asked him if he had been to Sloan Kettering and what was the second opinion his surgery was postponed twice - my reiki friends were working on it and my Christian friends he emailed me on December 11th - the day after my grandson's birthday - I got 3 emails actually - for my quiet, sober brother he was over the moon - the surgery was successful - I had told him I would haunt him if he didn't stay here - he got quiet and said - you would too. I still get to tease him about being a grandpa - not that he is besotted or anything God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there. Guest guest
he wanted to say thank you - prostate cancer runs in his family having worked hospice - nothing fases me that after noon I got an email from my sister - problems with her daughter after a fight put her daughter inpatient - I worked with her for a couple of hours and had to go to a first night class - she was in school - I said I will definitely be home by 9pm - usually the class meets and they read the sylabus and leave - not the idiot I had to deal with I was online at 9 pm and it was my brother reaching out August to October when they had the surgery - and the 10th of December when he got the all clear - after that he and his son set up my website for reiki - we shut it down when it got hacked in 2003 he is Jewish but he talks reiki to his female rabbi after 44 years he is family - we are total opposites - he doesn't get jokes - but he is supportive and loves me God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there.

Apparently, she had gone to the bathroom and it looked like, as she put it, someone poured a bottle of coke in the toilet. To: MSersLife Sent: Sun, February 27, 2011 5:44:25 AMSubject: Re: now my sister... keep trying until they give you answers and options - my big brother in NJ was diagnosed with prostate cancer in the late 90's - I asked him if he had been to Sloan Kettering and what was the second opinion his surgery was postponed twice - my reiki friends were working on it and my Christian friends he emailed me on December 11th - the day after my grandson's birthday - I got 3 emails actually - for my quiet, sober brother he was over the moon - the surgery was successful - I had told him I would haunt him if he didn't stay here - he got quiet and said - you would too. I still get to tease him about being a grandpa - not that he is besotted or anything God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there. Guest guest
heart family comes to mean more than birth certificate family - and her son took me to lunch in December - asked to come - it is hard to believe he graduates from high school this year - I met him 8 years ago - doesn't seem like that long God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there.
