Elsewhere, like up here in San when a fishing boat comes in you find a sign near the marina entrance with the type of fish for sale and sometimes even the price listed. I have not yet bought that way because I just haven't been a fish eater, but, thanks to this list and its supporting books, I have increased my fish consumption to twice a week. From your location on the Peninsula, i would go over to Half Moon Bay and the small towns up and down the coast looking for the ports of call.
