Guest guest
Just had to share I'm so excited to be able to pass you this report. I received this e-mail from one of the moms in our WA group & have received permission to post it up to you (when I asked her if I could send this to the group she said if it helps another child like I've helped hers then I could post it up to the group). Background: This mom is a pediatric dr. We met last fall (actually from an interaction off-list from this list...turned out she only lived about 10 min from me ). At that time her son was on gfcf diet & probiotics. Her son @ that time was basically non-verbal w/very little attension span & could be difficult to manage. She saw one of our docs early this year, started MB12, some anti-fungals including pau de'arco & probiotics, NDF Plus for chelation (chlorella, cilantro, PolyFlor™ probiotics, and 18% grain neutral spirits as a preservative, agaricus blazei mushroom, reishi mushroom, cordyceps mushroom, milk thistle seeds and horsetail for drainage and organ support). She started on the surfactant last spring after seeing the green/healthy Christmas tree in April & being a dr. understands about rx surfactants. After meeting w/one of the heads of Immusist she jumped on board with some in our WA group & started them. She noticed some really good improvements but found his hand stimming/toe walking kicking up. Going over her supplements I felt she needed more binders on board so I gave her some of my BioPure Chlorella & some of my Alfalfa. She tried them on her son & her son liked the Alfalfa but did not want the extra chlorella (since she was already on some we just went w/adding the alfalfa). She told me adding the additional binders made a big improvement to his overall better demeanor + she saw a good reduction in his stimming. At this point in time he is very verbal & interactory. He is a pleasure to be around! I watched him & his brother a couple of weeks ago to help his mom get some chores done...the boys were both such a pleasure & played well with both my children. I could not be more proud of this family. I got tears reading her e-mail...us moms have talked about how much difference the surfactants made to help our children. Here's a copy of her e-mail: " Re: yipppeeeeee!!! had xxxx school conference tonight and for the first time i didnt leave holding back the tears. u were and are right!!! the same teacher who made me so sad last year and had me crying when she said she did not think xxxx would ever be in mainstream classes has changed her mind now and it is her opinion that he will eventually be out of special ed classes!! he is now the highest functioning of the kids with autism in his preschool and i know that does not sound great but he is acting like a peer model in his autism class. he is starting to have interest in having a friend. so thank you my friend. my son is a different person than he was when i met you last year!! Guest guest
In my family, we simply cannot do the artificial dyes that are in this product, at least not at this point. Do you have any idea if they would ever make an " allergen-free " formula that was free of the dyes? Cathy > > Just had to share I'm so excited to be able to pass you this report. Guest guest
I get quite ill, and for days from artificial dyes, and this product does not effect me like that. I did get small die-off, and only started with one drop. I worked up to 15 drops twice a day and felt better than I had in 12 years. I don't understand about the dye either in this product; I used it because a friend of mine who knows the top docs told me about it. I still waited, and then others reported good things from it. I then used it. I know it cost a lot to risk worrying about the dye, so I recommend seeing what others have to say. Sometimes, things don't make sense. I always go by what people report that don't know each other. Love and prayers, Heidi N In my family, we simply cannot do the artificial dyes that are in this product, at least not at this point. Guest guest
I emailed Immusist months ago questioning the artificial colors. I think I remember the response being something along the lines of "considered safe by the FDA" Not only that, but "surfactant blends" is way too vague for my comfort. What if one of those surfactants happened to be coconut (which is often used in edible surfactants) and there was an allergy? I'm glad people are finding success - but unless the company becomes more clear about their ingredients and is able to find a way to remove the artificials, I wouldn't even consider giving this to my kiddo. If I've learned anything at all, it's that we MUST pay attention to what we put into our childrens' bodies.... -Tammy To: mb12valtrex Sent: Friday, November 4, 2011 11:01 AMSubject: Re: yipppeeeeee!!! Guest guest
This child was 3, he's now 4. My son is 13, he was 12 when starting it. The newest boy in our WA group is 5, he's non-verbal...per recent comments from his mom at 2 weeks on the surfactants his attention span has dramatically increased, he's now attentive to his teacher & starting to mouth his 1st words (his teacher has also commented about his change). The Immusist is considered a whole food & is safe for babies, pregnant & nursing mothers. Rita > > > > Just had to share I'm so excited to be able to pass you this report. Guest guest
As a whole food it is very safe for any age including babies, pregnant & nursing moms. In the rx realm surfactants are administered to premature babies to increase their survival rate. The surfactant that I have researched & my family has been using for 1 year, here's a link to it: http://immusist.com/ Having been on strict special diets for 7 years now...my daughter (9) has been 7 years recovered from asthma & my son is almost recovered(he's 13...we started biomedical recovery when he was 6yo)....most can not tell. You use it for as long as you feel you need to, it's a whole food with no adverse side effects. Guest guest
fyi....Just got off the phone w/the newest boys mom, he's 5 & doing great on it....we're just starting to add binders for him. The dose she's using is: started on 2 drops 1x day after a few days increased to 2drops 2x day after a few days increased to 3 drops 2x day & has been holding for 2-3 weeks now. She just reported this last week he has for the 1st time started playing/interacting with his sister (she started crying @ this point) & has just said his 1st spontaneous word (more). With a DAN dr she's been on special diets & anti-fungals for over a year ( & still is). Adding the Immusist is what has made the biggest difference in a short amount of time. Guest guest
As always, I value your input & I could not agree more about paying attension to what is given to my children. The dye's are all natural. Even though many of us in WA have been using it on our sensitive children with no adverse side effects, because of requests from me & several on the lists I have been told they are planning on reformulating it to meet our requests. Regarding paying attension to what is given to my child, because I see a doctor highly trained in Dr Klinghardt's ART. Everything I use is ART tested. Because of this I personally have very few negative reactions to anything I've used on my recovering son. My son & several that I personally know have ART tested very well on this product. Guest guest
I'm sorry, Rita, but I thought this was the product you were referring to: http://www.immusist.com/immusist.html If it isn't, then which product do you use? If it is, then the colors are not all natural because they are FD & C Red #40 and Blue #1. Thanks, Cathy > > > > > > > > Just had to share I'm so excited to be able to pass you this report. Guest guest
Could you please share the amount, type and brand name of binders that this five year old is taking along with the Immusist? From all I have read, it seems very important to have the correct binders on board. Also, do you give the binders at the same time as the Immusist or hours after? Thank you. > > > > > > Can you please tell me where to get surfactants? Thanks > > > > > >
Guest guest
I'm sorry. artificial Blue 1 is made from petroleum, perhaps this is what you mean by " natural. " Please read up on food dye:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brilliant_Blue_FCF http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Food_coloringThe federal govt (USA) allows colors in foods that most of Europe has banned. Many of these colorings have lead in them, yes in minute amounts... but still! There is no reason for a " health food " to have artificial colors.I am glad that people are improving with it. I'll wait for the dye-free version. As always, I value your input & I could not agree more about paying attension to what is given to my children. The dye's are all natural.
