Guest guest
I think 's right. Rubella and German measles are fatal consequences for foetus if you contracted the virus when you're pregnant. My time only girls were injected with rubella and that was in grade 6 (this is in Singapore). I think if your son is 7 years old and has been on biomed, measles shouldn't be too fatal unless he's still an infant or over 80. But then again, we're not doctors. He is four and still has elevated titers for Rubella and Mumps. He started getting watery diarrhea, night terrors, no language development after the German measles. Our Dan thinks he got the measles from the shot and I do too. My typical two year old hasn't had the MMR shot and we have stopped all other shots for her too. At the moment, I feel safer her getting the measles then the MMR -- at least it is more natural, no heavy metals and most measles cases are not fatal anyway (german measles and mumps are pretty benign too).... We receive subsequent doses for the 5% who do not. WHO (World Health Organization) uses Vitamin A to treat those who contract measles...which is typically not deadly but for those who are very young, very old, very sick or severely malnutritioned...those who are especially void of vitamin a (We're talking countries who suffer from famine) Channa's right, the majority of measles outbreaks are caused by those already vaccinated. So it's really still a roll of the dice. If you DO choose to go ahead with it, Dr. Bock suggests taking vitamins a, c, zinc, and transfer factor for as many days as you can before it and for atleast two weeks after. And as you know, never ever vaccinate if there's so much as a sniffle or if antibiotics are currently or have recently been used. And just so you're informed, less thermasil means more aluminum. yuck! All you can do is be as informed as possible then make the best choice you can for your child. -Tammy To: "mb12valtrex " <mb12valtrex >Sent: Monday, November 7, 2011 9:25 PMSubject: Re: Measles outbreak when did they prove vaccines work? what study? just curious...I have heard of kids getting measles from the vaccine itself and then passing on the dna contamintated virus to other kids that way. purposely inject my son with a vaccine whos safety has never been proven? not me. not my child . I would have vitamin a ready and other viral fighters should my son contract measles. few people have died? what about the thousands of brain damaged kids from vaccines. oh but if your docter says its safe then i guess it must be. sarcasm sorry. but who am I ? so we all do what we feel is best for our kids. channa To: "mb12valtrex " <mb12valtrex >Cc: "mb12valtrex " <mb12valtrex >Sent: Monday, November 7, 2011 9:06 PMSubject: Re: Measles outbreak Yes, he is school-age, 7 years old. And , I did ask my son's ped if she used single-serve vials and she said yes. I didn't know to ask her about aluminum, nor did I ask about getting the measles vaccine by itself. But, I did some reading about the role of vitamin A in measles prevention/treatment, and it is very encouraging. I've also made an appointment to discuss this with our DAN, Dr. Megson. I really don't want to give my son any more vaccines--he hasn't had one since his diagnosis at 15 months, but I'm scared, to be honest, and my husband thinks we should give the vaccine. He's like, "Of the two extremes, regression from a vaccine or possible death from complications from the measles, I'll take the vaccine any day." Thanks for the advice, everybody...I'll have Dr. Megson bump up our vitamin A and anything else she suggests, and pray our little guy can avoid this mild outbreak. This is just me, but I would keep my son out of malls, walmarts, chuckey cheese's and such and keep him supplemented with vitamin a. Is he school age? A few people have died. My 7 year-old asd son has never received the mmr, and I'm really worried about him contracting this disease. Our regular pediatrician just showed me some documentation stating that none of the single-serve vials of the mmr vaccine that she uses contain thimerosol. Should I take that at its word and just give my son this vaccine? Are there other things to be worried about with this vaccine besides thimerosol? Thanks,Soraya
