Guest guest
>> I would figure the feeling of your liver doing more is the result of it having to do more. It would seem a fast puts a strain on your liver as it must process more nasties than normal. I've been about half following this thread, but wanted to comment on this. I think this is true at least to some extent. I have some extra pounds to lose after having baby #3, but whenever I drop my carb count to lose weight, I begin to get liver pain. I should mention that I know my liver and gallbladder are in bad shape, as I had gallstones after baby #2, which quit bothering me after I quit eating wheat. But whenever I begin to lose weight, I get this pain in my liver. My assumption is that it is the extra toxins my liver must process as they are loosed from fat storage, and it wouldn't pain me if my innards weren't in such bad shape from 36 years of eating SAD. However, I'd rather have them out of my body where they can't bother me any more! Just my experience, FWIW! ~ Carma ~ " Self-reliance is the antidote to institutional stupidity.
