We are actually having a researcher test this for our Sanfilippo kids. Seeing if it effects mTOR in Sanfilippo or not. Sanfilippo kids present very similar to Autism in the first 3 - 8 yrs of life. The brain is our main issue, but due to lysosomal storage build up in the brain then prgans and so on, until it destroys our kids. Many are missed diagnosed initally, until real regression sets in.

Patty T- mom to in land

P.S. We in the Chase Giving Event right now for the next 2 weeks, if anyone wants to cast a vote to help us win more dollars for the research you can do it here.. https://apps.facebook.com/chasecommunitygiving/charities/270513546-team-sanfilippo-foundation It's easy, just "like" Chase Giving in the upper left corner..., then "like" us and go for the vote. Be sure it's Team Sanfilippo you are voting for if so. Thanks in advance.

Hi Everyone,

Have you ever heard of a medicine called rapamcyn. On an article I have read, this may be good for children with autism as it improves neurocognition. The article is here:

What do you guys think?

Thanks
