Guest guest
Dee, I have skin rolling done by my PT every week. It is marvelous – it is for the connective tissues to keep them flowing smoothly. It hurts to start – there may be red streaks on the skin (if it is done right) and bruising, but the more it is done, the less painful it becomes. When it is painful, it shows that you need it. I tell my PT to keep going deeper, especially around by sits bones. And she doesn’t do it on the vulva if is already painful – she is very cautious when she starts in that area. But the only way to get to the pelvic floor trigger points is through the vagina. Again, she starts very slowly, and if it becomes too painful she stops. But it is amazing, how just a little helps, and then the following week you can have a little more done, and the body becomes accustomed to it. Chelle can tell you a lot about it also as she has had it done, and her husband learned to do it on her as she doesn’t have a qualified pelvic PT near her. nne From: VulvarDisorders [mailto:VulvarDisorders ] On Behalf Of Dee Troll Sent: Tuesday, April 01, 2008 5:46 AM To: VULVAR DISORDERS LIST Subject: New Download files nne WOW nne.... I just saw all your downloads to the group. Fantastic! I really appreciate all the time and effort. It means a lot. Thank YOU. One quick question? What does all that 'rolling of the skin' do? I saw that on the tummy and looks easy enough but how or what is that supposed to help? If someone wanted me to do that on my vulva? I wouldn't let them near me with the pain I was in. *grin*... but curious. Dee
