Got a call from the school nurse today...

....telling me to come pick up my kid because he was peeing blood. I told her

that I had given him a b12 shot this morning and that he often has pink pee on

the days I inject him. I give it very shallowly, just under the skin like our

DAN told me, it's definitely not in the muscle. I haven't heard back from our

DAN yet, but I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong that it's showing up in his

urine. Or is that normal?

I believe that when it shows in their pee it's because it was not injected right but I don't believe it's dangerous at all.

When we did MB 12 shots we had the same. Our son has little body fat so even at a shallow angle we were getting pink pee. I always told the teachers to expect it on those days.Hope this is helpful, Sent from my iPhone

We did, too. Pink/orange pee in the morning after giving the shot overnight.
