Guest guest
pallavi rao, thank you so much for the warm kind blessings from India! it is so very appreciated... It is sad we think of the US as a free country. but it is only free if you follow the rules...rules that can endanger our kids for example vaccines ect. I had so many dreams of going to the poorest of neighborhoods and giving lectures on biomed ...the cheapest easiest stuff that the poorest people could get..i wanted to go to the projects.. community centers ect....i wanted to start organizations for getting biomed available for the poor..but now i know I must keep my big mouth shut..or else my son can be taken from me. how is that for good old freedom of speech??? I try to share my knowledge with everyone i meet online...but how many poor people have computers??? It is so wrong and hypocritical of the whole legal system to give docters rights above parents...and threatening parents for a dirty house. I feel like I have jacked up to much of this groups time already on this subject but at the same time it is so important this is a civil rights issue...and we all need to safely bring this injustice to light channa. Guest guest
Never, Channa! You never take up too much of our time on anything. If anything, you're making us see that we all go through the same bullshit and helping us to not feel so alone in the challenges each of us face everyday. FWIW, I personally feel that anyone who has an autistic child and doesn't make any attempts to do biomed -- that's child abuse. If a NT child is sick, you would treat the child, right? You would take him/her to see a doctor. You would make moves to make that child better. Just because mainstream medicine doesn't understand how to treat autism, doesn't mean that we shouldn't treat it. We must find alternative means of treating our children because they can get better and attain a better quality of life. pallavi rao, thank you so much for the warm kind blessings from India! it is so very appreciated... Guest guest
Amen, Amen, and Amen. I can't tell you how many times I've made dietary suggestions to parents (especially ADHD kids) and have gotten the response "Oh yea, I've heard that. But that's way too hard". Are you f'ing kidding me??? That's the equivalant of not caring for a kid with Muscualr Dystrohy because it's "way too hard". Crazy. Of course it doesn't help when most pediatricians have nothing worthwhile to contribute or make an argument for and the televisions they're glued to are spurting out ads like "Science shows that the human body doesn't know the difference between corn syrup and sugar". So there's plenty of people enabling (and "validating") their ignorance. I swear to God, the day money falls into my lap, Channa's getting my first million dollars. So she can have a couch AND good food for her little guy. AND she can bring her cause to the streets.
