Guest guest
Hooray, hooray.... I found those graphics I was looking for, *grin* and it was with Dr. Clive Solomons with the Vulvar pain foundation and their Pain Project. Dee ~ ----- Original Message ----- Statistics from the Vulvar pain foundation and their results in a 5 yr time span: Notice the VPF who did the study (called the Pain Project) had their protocol listed as the most beneficial. (using the Low Oxalate diet and Calcium citrate & glucosamine) and next in line you will see the use of the Estrace (or estrogen of various kinds)
Guest guest
Great information Dee. If anyone wants to see the website where the stats appear along with much detail it can be found at: http://www.vulvarpainfoundation.org/vpfrecover.htm I had much success with the low oxalate diet and also the NAG (N-acetyl-glucosamine. The best thing about it is that after I was on the low oxalate diet for a year or so I could start eating some of them with no problems if I did not eat them every day. Also I don't need to take the NAG every day but if I get vulvar burning with bm's I just take it for a day or so and the problem is gone.
