Guest guest
Had the chocolate this morning. Added a little bit of cinnamon too – which turned out great! Cinnamon alone, or together with clove, ginger and bitter orange (the spices used in Swedish gingerbread) is usually a tasty addition to hot chocolate, but I was a bit unsure if it'd work in this kind of chocolate, already rich in flavors. But it did. It was a good morning to have something extra for breakfast too, because September 3 is the anniversary of our move from the west coast of Sweden, to the south parts, what we refer to as our own private Exodus... We lived in that town for only 2 years and 9 months, but it felt like a couple of lifetimes. We REALLY didn't like it there. This year we have extra reason to celebrate that Exodus too, as the company where is working, the one that is closing down in this city, is moving part of it's enterprise out west. And we are not that intent on moving in that direction again... 's boss asked her the other day: "What would it take for you to be interested in moving to the west coast?" (they are supposed to ask all employees that). answered: "That it's relocated to the east coast."...love/Reb; celebrating life in the non-west coast of Sweden...
