Guest guest
Just some 'stuff' that is going on>My daughter, Lia, 18, left moments ago, with my husband, with a car crammed forher return back to college. This time isdifferent; she'll be living off campus in herfirst apt. with 2 other kids. She is so excited. Not just for the apartment, but to be goingback to school. She loves her classes, andis thrilled to be taking courses in her majorthis semester: animation. Her first yearshe received 3.9 in both semesters; I was,to say the least, very proud!I am feeling down about her leaving. Selfish.I know. I am SO going to miss her. Watchingeach of them grow up really pulls at my heartstrings......one of the boys that is on my son, 's(10 year old) hockey team, is losing his motherto a rare brain disease; she only has a few weeksto live. The boy, Colin, also has a 12 year old brother. My heart just aches for the children, and the father, .I have a hard time when my emotions are all overthe place. It's hard to just sit with them. I so wantto 'do' something. I think I'll make a meal for the family.Maybe I'll put together a care package to send toLia.I hope everyone has a blessed day.love to all, Katelove and blessings,Kate Attachment: vcard [not shown]

Guest guest
Dear Kate:First I want to say how sorry I am for Colin, his family and his mother. I will remember them in my prayers.Lia is like the fledgling grosbeak I enjoyed watching this spring. The little bird was excited to fly and the mother bird was watchful, worried and hovered over her fledgling. How many kids are left at home now? How far away is Lia's school? Will she be able to come home for weekends? love to you SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
Thank you for praying for Colin and his family; it is all so sad. (What a beautiful metaphor about the bird and Lia. It is very true.I am the momma bird; fretting and flitting about. Luke (16), (13), and (10)are the 3 at home. Kara (22)and Lia(18) are both out of the house.Lia's school is roughly 3 and a half hours away. She doesn't haveher license yet, and therefore, doesn't have her own car. Also, evenif she did drive, there are very few places to park a car in andaround Boston. There is this 'Bolt' bus, which is a great deal. It's$15 from Boston to NY. I don't think she'll be home beforeThanksgiving, although it's not out of the realm of possibility.Love to you my friend, Kate ramblings> > > > Just some 'stuff' that is going on>> My daughter, Lia, 18, left moments ago,> with my husband, with a car crammed for> her return back to college.
